Investigators suspect a group linked to earlier Topeka liquor-store robberies may be responsible.

George Ole Hamilton a 47 year old Kansas City man was killed in a head on collision on U S 240 about three miles east of Tonganoxie. Carl B Flintoner of Kansas City Mo suffered cuts and bruises. Janice Lippert of Santa Barbara Calif driver of the other car is in critical condition at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Two other passengers in the Flintoner car William O. Tellington and David Crane escaped without apparent injuries.
