Priceless coffee pot returned to Nelson Gallery

Band Day Parade Begins at 9 A.M. in Lawrence

High school bands from 69 schools across Kansas and western Missouri travel at dawn to Lawrence for Band Day. About 5 000 musicians march from Central Park to Massachusetts Street then to Memorial Stadium for a pre game rehearsal. The KU Band directs the event with final formations spelling Band Day KU 1965 during the halftime show.
