Sunflower Cablework Outages Amid Storms and A City Drainage Question
Sunflower General Manager Dan McGough explains that storms with heavy rain and wind disrupt cable TV, as lightning can blow fuses and disable standby power, cutting service citywide even if homes still have power. The firm is building a new system and logs outages for weekly review and 24 hour response. A separate city stormwater issue notes two dead trees blocking waterways, with jurisdiction depending on location and property, and contact 832-3037 for problems.
