Four KU students injured in picnic-car collision
Four University of Kansas students were injured yesterday afternoon about 4 30 when their picnic car collided with a Topeka driver’s vehicle at the Gravel Cutoff near Tongandxie. One student, Shirley Husted 18 a fine arts sophomore, suffered a pelvis fracture and hip dislocation and was moved to KU Hospital in Kansas City. Five Hurt Near Midland Collision Injures Five
Five persons were injured in a two car crash about two miles west of Midland. Herbert Wood and his wife Rose Wood and their son Charles were in a westbound car. their vehicle left the road and swerved into the eastbound lane.
