C A McComas and M R Plummer oversaw driving and knowledge tests for motor vehicle license seekers in the court house basement. By noon 28 applicants were examined, most for knowledge of laws and color sight. one failing sight will not receive a license. McComas plans further exams 8 am to 5 pm tomorrow and hopes to continue weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays. The license fee remains 50 cents and certification by McComas is required. Five examinees were 70 years or older. no applicants aged 14 to 16 were present.
