Lawrence police report burglaries and thefts large losses listed
A 19 year old Lawrence man reported items stolen from his room including a boombox guitar and 64 CDs with losses of 1789 dollars. A 23 year old woman reported a break in at East 18th Street with a window screen removed and losses of 2750 dollars. A 21 year old man said a 1999 Ford Taurus was damaged on West 22nd Street with 2200 dollars in losses. A crude explosive device damaged a mailbox on East 1600 Road with 7 dollars in damage. Emergency calls logged include multiple fire medical and ambulance responses, plus several vehicle accidents and medical emergencies in Lawrence and nearby areas.
