Two confess in York murder and arson case

Boy Shot in Arm During Hunting Incident Near Lawrence
Harry Forney, 17, of 808 West Nineteenth Street, was accidentally shot in the right arm while hunting four miles northeast of Lawrence. The gun discharged as the hunter picked it up after crawling through a fence. Forney was taken to Simmons Hospital. the wound tore flesh and opened an artery but no bones were broken. Both boys were with 18 year old George Kirchhoff of 817 Missouri Street. Kirchhoff called for help. Forney is the son of H. A. Forney, Fowler shop instructor at the University. Kirchhoff is George J. Kirchhoff Jr.'s son.
