Lawrence citizens learn that the Lawrence Water Company, under receiver since June 16, 1904, has declared progress and plans to abolish the receiver role within days. Frank Sauer, former manager, will be retained as manager after successful remodeling and up-to-date improvements to the plant and service.
Real estate transfers list multiple parcels in Douglas County and Lawrence. Transfers cover sections 10 11 14 19 and 34 with varied lot, acres and street address moves.
