Death by own action in a Milwaukee hotel

James Charnley, 21, son of Charles M. Charn ley, former treasurer of the Presbyterian board of aid for colleges and academies, died by suicide in a Milwaukee hotel. First Winter Weather Spreads Across United States

Davis Decides Pension Claim After Twenty Seven Years

In Muscatine, November 24, Assistant Secretary of the Interior Davis decided a pension claim dating back twenty seven years. Gottlieb Elersick of Missouri sought back pay totaling about 95000 for alleged total blindness from eye disease. The decision found no record of eye disease in service and no competent proof of any disabling condition recurring.
