Lipgety Missouri Nov. 16 William Carr the child murderer was sentenced to be hanged December 17. Judge Broddus condemned the crime as cold blooded and unthinkable saying the prisoner showed no remorse. Carr carried three year old Belle from Liberty to near Kansas City tied her hands and threw her into the river after securing her with a rock. He confessed blaming too many children while denying his wife aided the crime. A Kansas City woman later identified the body. a warrant was sworn for her husband for murder.
