Boycott upheld against union in Kansas City case

Information from Kansas City reports that the U S Circuit Court of Appeals in St Louis affirmed a lower court Injunction against H G Hoskins and 12 others of the Coopers union No 75 and the Trades Assembly in a dispute with Oxler Stave Company of Kansas City Kansas. The decision holds unions cannot deprive a company of its right to manage its business by pursuing a boycott affecting machinery and other tools.

Secretary Gage Plans Unified Design For US Paper Money

Secretary Gage proposed a reform to unify the designs across silver certificates treasury notes of 1890 and greenbacks.
