Three-and-outs plague KU football in Baylor clash
KU faces Baylor at Memorial Stadium as Tan Ner Hawkinson notes offense and defense struggle with short drives. Fremeau data show KU ranks last in the Big 12 for three-and-outs on both sides, with 45 percent of possessions ending in a miss on offense and 17.7 percent forced by the defense. High first-down run rates and poor on first-down defense contribute to the woes, while third downs remain problematic for both units. Senior Day honors 15 Jayhawks before a 1 p.m. kickoff.
