Fire in Wichita claims 2nd life
A four year old girl, Megan L Scheikofsky, died from injuries after a fire that two days earlier killed her younger brother Shawn William Burtnett. Both children suffered burns and smoke inhalation in their parents mobile home when a chair caught fire after they played with a cigarette lighter. The fire occurred around 1130 am Monday and their mother could not reach them as the doorway became blocked. This followed a prior death Monday of Shawn.
