About 400 Lawrence residents signed an open letter supporting U S military personnel in Viet Nam and elsewhere. The letter, organized by VFW and American Legion posts, was displayed on a table in the 900 block of Massachusetts Street and will be shown again through the weekend. Signing is voluntary.
