Would be burglar in Lawrence detained by resident
Police report 22 year old Dakota Chase Petty called to say he had taken drugs and was breaking into a home on Rhode Island Street. The resident held the door until officers arrived and Petty was arrested on suspicion of attempted aggravated burglary.
