B 17 in on Nazi gas on German soil and back to England
The B 17 Flying Fortress, damaged by flak over Eisenach Germany, landed on a bomb pit field. With German left behind parts and two French mechanics, the crew repaired the aircraft and refueled manually. They flew to England within 24 hours. Crew included Second Lt. George J. Krenzin.
