Early returns from 56 scattered Kansas precincts show Harding ahead for president with 1136 to 592 in Topeka. Allen leads for governor with 848 to Davis 625, Curtis tops for US Senate with 744 to Hodges 463. By 3 pm Harding widens margin. Topeka reports 2136 for Harding and 899 for Cox. Reports from Leavenworth Hutchinson Salina Wichita Parsons Kansas City Kansas Coffeyville reflect similar patterns with Harding leading across multiple races and cities.
Marion Ohio November 2 Senator Harding voted early after planning to visit polls but spent most of the day golfing at a club near Columbus. He intended to learn results tonight at home with Mrs Harding as local Republicans prepared a celebratory gathering.
