Escaped inmate Routt faces charges in Douglas County

Neighbors shared updates via a neighborhood Listserv after an escape. Police spokesman McKinley said officials aim to provide timely information and regrets delays in returning calls. Routt, facing an aggravated escape from custody level 8 felony, has a preliminary hearing scheduled for November 6. He was being transported from the East Coast to Colorado and previously convicted in 2011 of a juvenile sexual assault.

KU to Implement New KU Core Undergrad Curriculum in 2013
