Rivers Again Within Banks After Flood In Kaw Wak Arusa Valleys
Flood waters receded across Douglas county as the Kaw and Wak Arusa rivers dropped four to five feet after three days of high water. Many families evacuated and livestock moved to higher ground while crops suffered heavy damage including flooded potato fields and ruined wheat and garden crops.
