Class Day Pageant Highlights Lawrence Senior Event

The Lawrence high school senior class day program in Central Park at 6 30 tomorrow evening features a Greek setting with Alberta Mack as Goddess of Wisdom presiding. Ottawa Campaign Starts Y M C A Effort With Naismith

The Franklin county Y M C A drive was launched in Ottawa last night led by IL W. Boltz and Dr. James Naismith of the University of Kansas. The campaign will be run from the Lawrence Y M C A office as part of Kansas third district, with separate Douglas and Franklin county efforts. Naismith spoke on army camp conditions and has lectured across Kansas. Initial fundraising in Douglas county aims at 2500, with about 1250 subscribed so far.
