Kansas House approves $280 million school funding plan
The Kansas House passed final passage of a school funding bill that phases in a $280 million increase over two years. The 84-39 vote sends the measure to the Senate where a separate plan is expected next week. Rep. Boog Highberger of Lawrence voted no and urged a special session.
