Petrie Named NBA Executive of the Year for Kings Comeback
Geoff Petrie, Sacramento's vice president of basketball operations, is named BA Executive of the Year by The Sporting News in New York. The Kings finished 27 23 after a late surge and pushed Jazz to a fifth game in the first round of the playoffs. Petrie called the award meaningful given the abrupt league start due to a lockout.
