Four men were arrested in connection with a Timken State Bank burglary at Timken, Kansas, 23 miles west of Great Bend. Authorities say cutting torches breached the vault and safe. about $7,000 in cash was reported missing. Three men face first degree robbery charges after allegedly stealing $3 from a Kansas University student at knife point near Templin Hall. In Eudora a young man tried to lure an 8 year old girl near Ith and Pine streets about 6 p m Saturday, described as wearing only a blue shirt with a blue Corvair involved.

Dogs on Loose Injure Children and Kill Lambs
Three youngsters in the West Junior High area were bitten by a mixed Huskie German Shepherd dog. Two other dog incidents include a German Shepherd biting a colt and two stag hounds killing two lambs valued at nine dollars each.
