Entire U S Fleet Moves From Pacific To Atlantic Next Year
Washington May 26 The navy department said the entire fleet will be moved from the Pacific to the Atlantic next year for maneuvers and a visit to the New York world’s fair. It will leave its Pacific bases in January and be gone about six months. The Atlantic visit is set for May with a fleet problem to be worked out in February in the West Indies and Atlantic to at least the equator. Hardings in Accident on Highway 10 West of Zarah
Mr and Mrs Clifford L Harding on a two week east bound vacation trip were in a collision at a sharp hill curve on highway 10 near Zarah Johnson county. Their car met a large truck while a car driven by Ottawa dealer Arthur Dennis attempted to pass. Mrs Harding suffered minor injuries. both cars damaged. The couple were helped to Lawrence by a passerby and a wrecker hauled their car back. They will resume travel once repairs are completed.

Five Hugoton high school freshmen were seriously injured when a school truck carrying 23 students overturned near Sublette as the driver checked on a following vehicle.
