Papa Keno's Pizzeria Assets Seized Over Unpaid Taxes

Remains of Navy surgeon to be buried in KC after 63 years
Navy flight surgeon Jesse R. Battenfeld Jr. died in a Cascade Mountains crash in 1945. His remains, found recently by an amateur historian, will be buried beside family at Mount Moriah Cemetery in Kansas City, Missouri, with a 10 a.m. Saturday military service. Battenfeld had been memorialized as the namesake of a University of Kansas Medical Center auditorium.
