Transfer plan lets community college credits count for juniors
A five year transfer agreement approved by the Kansas Joint Advisory Committee on Governance would admit students who complete an associate degree at any of the 19 public community colleges as juniors at Kansas universities and would satisfy general education requirements. Non degree transfer students would receive general education credit for articulated courses. A proposed data sharing system to track transfer outcomes was delayed amid privacy concerns under federal law.
