Burdett Eyes Free Mini Golf Fame On Country Road
Burdett Kansas seeks to draw travelers by reviving its nearly 40 year old free nine hole miniature golf course. City officials led by Superintendent Leonard Mostrom aim to spruce greens and promote a rural stop with lunch and leg stretching. Promoters Marci Penner and WenDee LaPlant envision a tourism draw tied to Kansas treasures. Phase 2 will renovate the course after a community park discussion.
