KU Students Report Sightings Of Space Ship And Rocket
Two Kansas University students Harold Smith from Lin den New Jersey and Bill Jellison from Wilson Kansas claim they sighted a space ship and a rocket at 3 48 Tuesday morning. They described a small steady point of light and a larger object cartwheeling with blinking sunlight about one revolution each second. Weather later prevented a second sighting and they planned to use a 35 inch telescope but did not need it.
