Society notes from Lawrence Kansas clubs and events
Numerous Lawrence groups convened for luncheons, teas, and meetings. Members from Kappa Kappa Gamma, PEO, Co-Operettes, and local clubs hosted gatherings at Colonial and homes, with reports on conventions, war-time activities, and fund drives. A baby was born in Memorial hospital and the Woman's club closed its year with a town party and district reports.
