Baldwin Burkhart plans Fort Hays State fall attendance
Baldwin Burkhart and four classmates will attend Fort Hays State University in the fall though he has not chosen a major yet. Emma Bailey, one of 17 honor-with-distinction graduates, spoke of the class as special and close. Bailey will study economics and Spanish at DePauw University, while Josie Gilliland will attend Johnson County Community College before transferring to Kansas State University. The graduates emphasized their strong community, lasting friendships, and adapting plans as they head to college. Noah Buckley will study geology at Kansas State after a late visit, staying near friends.
