Chiefs sign pair of defensive backs in early draft moves

Kansas City announces contracts for Julian Battle and Willie Pile, first signings of eight-draft-pick plan. Battle inks four years, Pile three, with no further details released. ACC presidents vote to expand adding Miami and others

ACC colleges voted 7-2 to expand the league beyond nine teams, inviting Miami and two Big East members, Syracuse and Boston College or Virginia Tech, to join.
