Potter guilty of grand larceny and burglary in district court
Ernest Jack Potter was found guilty of grand larceny and burglary in the second degree by a jury in district court after deliberating less than an hour. Conviction on burglary carries one to five years and grand larceny from five to ten years. Potter, already having served a term in the state penitentiary, was arrested April 17 for stealing a suitcase from an eastbound caboose at the local depot.
