Terry and Erica celebrate moving into the 79th Lawrence Habitat for Humanity home. The three bedroom, nearly complete house includes wheelchair accessible walkways and bathroom, with a zero interest mortgage and 225 hours of sweat equity required from each adult. Erica, a graphic design student, plans to paint her room chilled lemonade in memory of her father as part of a well deserved Mother's Day gift.

Traffic Cameras Boost Lawrence ITS Reach on 23rd Street
Lawrence's Traffic Engineering Division expanded Intelligent Transportation Systems by adding cameras at 12 intersections and laying fiber optic cables. By summer the network will grow to 21 sites along Sixth and Iowa streets and 23rd Street between Iowa and Harper.
