Lawrence Humane Society elects officers and board
The Lawrence Humane Society elected a new slate of officers and a seven-person board Monday night under revised bylaws. Directors begin two-year overlapping terms in 1982, replacing the prior mix of terms to improve continuity. New bylaws expand member definition and allow voting on non-director issues. Officers include Hood Henderson as president, Bonnie Wells as vice president, Pam Lewis as secretary, and Nancy Golden-Patterson as treasurer. New board members are Nancy Golden-Patterson, Michael Henderson, Chris Long, Pam Lewis, Jane Tusten, Busey Patton, and Don Watkins.
