A 15 inch Beagle, Ch. Busch's Gin Rickey, owned by William and Cecile Busch of Cape Girardeau Missouri, won best in show as about 1,000 dogs across 90 breeds competed. Group winners included Sporting Irish setter, Hound Beagle, Working Old English sheepdog, Terrier blue terrier, Toy Shih Tzu, and Non-sporting Bulldog. more judges and winners announced during the day-long event. HUD funds revived for 312 Loan Program in Lawrence
HUD has resumed the 312 Loan Program offering up to 17400 dollars over 20 years at 3 percent simple interest for housing rehabilitation. Lawrence residents in North and East areas qualify, with applications possible in four to six weeks. Only three loans have been made since the program began. six applications are on file and more interested residents are named. The amount of funds available locally is not yet known. Also, Gov.
