Bus Plunge Kills 56 in South Korea Reservoir Crash

Stereo Tapes Stolen From Lawrence Apartment

Stereo and tape playing equipment valued at 365 dollars were taken from Bill J. Dinkel's apartment at 1603 West 15th. A door was apparently forced during the theft, which occurred between 9 30 p m Saturday and 12 30 a m Sunday.

Father and Son Released After Lakeview Road Crash

A father David G. Higgins 32 and his son 6 were released from Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a Saturday crash on Lakeview Road west of Hallmark Cards. Higgins suffered shock and minor injuries while the boy sustained a fractured pelvis and cuts. the car driver was Alan M. Hill 31 of Topeka. Both were in good condition on release.
