Commish: NBA erred on schedule for Spurs
NBA commissioner David Stern acknowledged a mistake in scheduling the San Antonio Spurs for the Western Conference semifinals opener. He said the network request influenced the timing and the league should have refused. Spurs beat Dallas 87-? and earned rest before their next series. Stern also floated seeding changes and presented Steve Nash with MVP before the Suns-Clippers series.
