Congregational Church Seeks Rev. Noble Elderkin to Fill Pulpit

Plymouth Congregational church has extended a call to Rev. Noble Elderkin of Ogden Utah to fill the pulpit here. The offer increases salary to 2300 a year and provides a parsonage. Elderkin preached here on two Sundays and pleased the congregation, though he also has an offer near Boston with 3000 a year.

May Wheat Prices Rise in Chicago Trading Session

May wheat reached $1.1614 in Chicago the highest since February with the day closing lower as traders awaited the government report on wheat acreage and condition. September futures opened lower and fell after the report, while winter wheat condition on May 1 stood at 82.1 percent, with harvest area around 29.4 million acres, up from 1909.
