Police searched Friday for the owners of three pit bulls that attacked and injured three men, one critically. The incidents occurred within a block on Thursday evening. two victims were hospitalized with serious to critical injuries, and the third drove to a hospital. The dogs were shot and killed by police. ownership and motive remain unclear.
Former Kansas City Kansas police officer David Howard sues Taser International alleging an electrical shock during training caused a fractured vertebra. He claims the company misled departments about injury risks and cites a consultant report warning muscle contractions could cause fractures. The suit, filed in U.S. District Court in Kansas City, follows earlier Arizona filing and is part of numerous similar suits against Taser International.
