Kay, a KU Pharmacy graduate, began active management this morning and plans a phased remodel and expanded prescription service, aiming to broaden adult patronage while preserving its community role. John Holt recently operated the store and has moved to a job in Olathe.

KU Art Festival Entries Open At Memorial Union
The annual KU Art Festival will be Sunday in Memorial Union sponsored by Delta Phi Delta with Kenneth Burdette of Olathe as president. Open to students and townspeople entries may be taken in Strong Hall Room until 6 p m today and Friday. Sculpture paintings ceramics and jewelry may be entered with no age limit. After judging and ribbon awards Sunday a coffee will be held from 3 to 5 p m. The show has been held for several years with some purchasing done.
