A dessert recipe describes lemon flavored cake with almond and egg white folding. It includes lemon juice glaze, hot water and sugar, then cooling in a mold and serving with whipped cream or confectioners sugar, followed by chocolate fudge frosting on cupcakes.
Cream shortening and sugar, beat in eggs one at a time. Add vanilla. Sift dry ingredients then add alternately with milk. Fold in melted unsweetened chocolate. Bake until done.
