Topeka May 4 Progress on noxious weed eradication in Kansas outlined by T F Yost state weed supervisor at the eighth annual state noxious weed meeting to be held May 9 and 10. He noted hindweed removed from 67 603 acres since 1937 and infestation cut from 200 000 to about 147 900 acres while 16 400 acres are under treatment and 6 200 acres eradicated in 1945. Nearly a third of Kansas farms reported bindweed in 1937 and 20 000 of those farms have had bindweed removed.
