Kansas tornadoes kill three injure fourteen in Pratt county
A pair of tornadoes ripped through Pratt and Barber counties on May 2 killing a family of four near Cunningham and injuring at least 14 others. The storms demolished farms, homes, and outbuildings, with one car hurled into a pond and a quarter mile wide funnel leaving a 12 mile long path. The Miller family losses included Mrs. John Miller 34 and sons Virgil and Doane 6.
