Winter Quarters Nebraska Temple opens for public tours
The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints dedicates its Winter Quarters Nebraska Temple in Omaha, the churchs first in Nebraska and 104th worldwide. Tours run daily 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. except Mondays and select days through April 14, with a cornerstone ceremony at 9 a.m. on April 22 at 8283 N 34th St. The facility serves over 35 000 Latter-day Saints in the region and includes celestial and ordinance rooms, a baptistry, dining, and ornate interior details.
