Old Stone House Burns Near Clinton
An old stone house one mile west of Clinton on the new blacktop road was gutted by fire Saturday night. Owned by Charles Hodges of Clinton and occupied by the Melvin Busch family, most furnishings had been removed as they were moving. The house, insured, had a fuel stove possibly left on.
