Jayhawks Fans Greet Team After Sweet 16 Bid

Fans lined up at the fieldhouse before 8 p.m. after a Kansas City trip as Kansas beat Pacific 78 63 at Kemper Arena to reach the NCAA Sweet 16. Hannah Compton handed players handwritten notes and hugs as coach Larry Self received a note. Local supporters like Gary Kuntz and Jesse Vega praised the team and hoped for continued success despite Simien’s groin worry.

Tickets still available for Friday's NCAA game in St Louis

More than 14,000 general tickets remain for St Louis regional NCAA Tournament games at the Edward Jones Dome. Tickets may be charged by phone via Ticketmaster or bought online. all session passes are 110 for club seating and 100 for terrace seating. If not sold out, single session tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Thursday at the home box office.
