Kaysan Urey Warel KAMBAG CITY STOCK MARKET reports cattle were steady while sheep and hogs showed softer tones. Cattle sales averaged around 1,480 pounds with prices near 185 per hundred, hog receipts total 932 with prices near 3.90 to 4.10, and sheep offerings 74 with a 4.40 to 4.50 range.

St Louis and Chicago Livestock Markets Report Mixed Activity

In St Louis on March 17 cattle supply was good but heavy, with prices slipping about 0.0 per hundred pounds to around 1.14. Hogs remained active with mixed packing prices near 4.00 to 4.57. Chicago cattle receipts reached 5,000 with a slow to fairly active tone and steady prices, hogs steady around 4.20 to 4.75, and sheep lively with prices holding from the prior day.
