Williams argues Midwest regional is not weak for NCAA tourney
Kansas coach Roy Williams rejects analysts who call the Midwest Regional the easiest in the NCAA Tournament. He notes mixed opinions on regional difficulty, cites KU as No.1 seed in the Midwest with Purdue second, and discusses potential matchups, injuries, and readiness ahead of Friday's start in Oklahoma City. Williams mentions Steve Robinson and other former KU assistants and stresses staying ready despite Raef LaFrentz's shoulder and Billy Thomas's thigh concerns.
