Bomb scare at White House prompts search
An anonymous call claimed a bomb was planted on the White House grounds. The Secret Service searched the area and found nothing suspicious. Press Secretary Ronald L. Ziegler said President Nixon had no comment on the incident. The tip came in around 1 am.
