Pollinators mural by Aaron Douglas dismantled for new development
Artist Dave Loewenstein preserves a piece of the Pollinators mural near Ninth and New Hampshire as it is taken down Friday for a northeast corner redevelop ment. The work honors Aaron Douglas and may be recreated in a smaller form with KU Spencer Museum of Art, linked to the 2007 Aaron Douglas: African American Modernist exhibition.
